Busy Teacher's Cafe is another resource that offers free printables of lesson plans and activities for kindergarten through sixth grade teachers. This website also has teaching strategies for teachers of this grade level. One thing that I especially like about this website is that it has a monthly resource page that offers seasonal and monthly classroom ideas. Another interesting thing on this site is that it features a classroom website every month so that other teachers can get ideas about how their own websites can be updated.

OSPI is the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction in Washington State. This is a necessary resource for soon-to-be and practicing teachers in Washington because it has information about getting teaching certification and renewing certificates, education programs in Washington, state learning standards, and other information that all Washington teachers need to know. There are also articles on this website about what's happening in Washington State schools. This website should be bookmarked by all teachers in Washington if it's not already!

Teachers could use this for creating worksheets for vocabulary practice, math skill practice, literacy questions, or geography quizzes. This is also a good resource for parents if they want to create practice worksheets for their children to complete at home.

This website has links for teachers, parents, students, administrators, and librarians, so it is a well-rounded resource. I highly recommend that soon-to-be-teachers and practicing teachers sign up for an account on this website to gain full access to all of the information it has to offer. There is so much fun stuff on this website, don't click the link unless you have a few hours to explore!
